It is a sad commentary on the Legion of self-styled ‘Anti-Cult’ Parachurch Movement that it is a bigger fraud than Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi Scheme; the Biggest Sucker-In of Trusting Suckers; and the Mega-Inventor of Manufactured Lies against Christians that exercise their Christianity within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as ‘Mormons.’

Lying For Jesus ...

Is it Lawful to call a lie a lie? Is it Decent to call prevarication ‘prevarication?’ Within Christian history there is no precedent to replace ‘lie’ and ‘lies’ with more elegant terminology. The Bible warns that Liars will be thrust down to Hell. But it does not then say that Prevaricators will be propelled up to Heaven as long as they lie about something they don’t like!

‘Lash Out Trust’ claims to be dedicated to telling it like it is. They mean they will tell 'it' as 'it' really is, but they do not! Instead, they tell 'it' all all other Lying Ministries argue 'it' is. It is normal for those mired to their necks in ‘Anti-Cult’ prevarication to slip and slide like slimy eels and to refuse to see their lies as God sees them – that is as humongous ‘Capital ‘L’ Lies.’

The Devil Makes Them Do it!

Perhaps we should take it easy on Lying Ministries and their Lies. Perhaps it is not their fault they lie and we must blame the Devil who makes them do it?

Perhaps they don’t really mean what they write and are only doing it to make money? Everyone has to live and if they can’t make it through life without telling a few Little White Lies and a few Big Black Lies here and there. If so, then we must Reach Out to them in Love and help them to find the God of Truth and the Jesus of Truth so they can abandon their ‘gods of Lies’ and their ‘Jesse's of Lies’ and live as honest men and women and make themselves Heaven-ready instead of Hell-bound with all Liars.

What would Jesus have them do? That is the question we must ponder.

Let’s turn first to the format of the ‘Great Commission’ in the New Testament [AV] to consider the instruction given to the Apostolate prior to the induction into heaven of the now risen, now glorified, now immortal Jesus.

The Great Commission

As Spoken by Jesus Christ

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it were not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgement, than for that city.

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The details of their commission are straightforward with no license to deviate from the Divine Instruction no matter what they find or do not find. There is no scriptural or historical evidence that these messengers from God felt ‘moved’ to set up in the ‘anti-non-believer’ business!’

Matthew 28:16-20 (Authorized Version)

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This instruction, or Commission, is similar in content and intention to the instructions Jesus gave his Apostolate when he sent them out on a prior occasion:

But that would change in later times when the distance of time and an increasing unfamiliarity with the Words of Jesus Christ would render ‘freelance’ ‘missionaries’ called by warm fuzzy feelings to ignore Christ’s Strict – ‘My word shall not pass away’ - Rules for Great Commissions, ‘inspiring’ them to effectively write their own scripture and interpret Christ’s plain words according to the Byzantine Code that like a round peg into a square hole they hammer into the place from where they have wrested the Word of the Living God. The consequences of their Godless actions are as follows:

And when ye return to your abode, straightway publish all the lies you can invent to discomfit and destroy those that heed my words but will not obey your words. 15 Verily I say unto you, thou shalt tell God to tolerate you, your lies, and also Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgement, if you want him to do.

16 Behold, I send you forth as wild beats in the midst of sheep: be ye therefore as cunning as vipers, and as destructive as wild bulls.

Glossary

Lash Out: to make a sudden blow or fierce verbal attack.

Example One: The mule lashed out with its hind legs.

Example Two: Reach Out Trust lashed out with its cloven feet.

Reach Out: To offer a hand concealing a poison tipped dagger.
